I think your responses touches on the most interesting/infuriating and unrealistic point in the whole Friends franchise…. These people would never be friends IRL. They may touch upon each others lives, and meet up occasionally – the way most of us have friend groups that we probably wouldn’t attempt to mix with other friend groups. But to have 6 adults who are so vastly different from each other, hanging out ALL the time is an unrealistic and ridiculous concept.

Also…. It was never explained how any of them made enough money to live where they did… except for Ross and occasionally Chandler.
